2010 Colorado State Parks Strategic Plan

The 2010 Strategic Plan outlines Colorado State Parks' overarching mission and purpose, and establishes a shared vision across all levels of the agency.  In many ways, the Strategic Plan assures that the public, our visitors, and our staff all have a common understanding of where the agency is headed, or our "roadmap" for the future.  

Colorado State Parks initiated the Strategic Plan update process in January 2010.  As part of this process, Colorado State Parks considered public opinion on key issues revealed through public survey research and public meetings, statewide outdoor recreation and trend data, as well as staff  and Parks Board input.
