Taylor Lake
Directions: This lake is most easily accessed from Aspen. Take Castle Creek Road approximately 12 miles south to Express Creek Road (just past Ashcroft town site). Proceed approximately 5 miles to Taylor Lake.

Boating: Non-motorized, hand-powered only
Fish: Brook trout

Taylor Park Reservoir
Directions: From Gunnison, go north on Highway 135 to Almont, then northeast on USFS Road 742.

Taylor Reservoir
Directions: From Gunnison take Highway 135 north 10 miles to Almont. Turn right (northeast) onto Taylor Canyon Road. Proceed on Taylor Canyon Road approximately 19 miles to Taylor Reservoir.

Boating: No restrictions
Fish: Lake trout and kokanee salmon

Thurston Reservoir
Directions:
From Lamar, go 9 miles north on Highway 196 to County Road TT, then 1 mile west to County Road 7, then 1/4 mile north to the reservoir.
Fee: None
Boating: Boat ramps, power boating, sail boating, sail surfing and water-skiing; Nov. 1 through the last day of waterfowl season is wakeless boating only
Fish: Crappie, largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill, wiper and tiger muskie

Totten Reservoir
Directions: From Cortez, go 3 1/2 miles east on Highway 160 to County Road 29, then 1 mile north to the reservoir.

Fish: Crappie, largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill, walleye and saugeye

Trinidad Lake State Park
Directions: Drive 3 miles west of Trinidad on Colorado Highway 12, the "Scenic Highway of Legends."
Fees: See Trinidad State Park Fees. 
Boating: Water-skiing, windsurfing, boat fishing and personal watercraft; all boaters must observe wakeless speeds around the boat launch area, within 150 feet of shore fishermen and as buoyed, one boat ramp
Fish: Rainbow and brown trout, largemouth bass, channel catfish, walleye, crappie, bluegill and wiper
Water Acres: 900 (can fluctuate)
Elevation: 6,300 feet

Turk's Pond
Directions: From Springfield, go 2 miles north on Highway 287 to County Road HH, then 14 miles east to County Road 39, then 3 1/2 miles north to the property.

Fish: Bluegill, channel catfish and largemouth bass

Turquoise Lake
Directions:
Take 6th Street west out of Leadville. Turn right at the stop sign, which is County Road 4, over the railroad tracks. At the three-prone fork, take the far right road, which is the continuation of County Road 4, to the lake.
Fee: $4 fee at Matchless boat ramp, Matchless day area, Tabor boat ramp and Butcher Boy, Lady of the Lake and Maid of Erin picnic areas; $5 fee at the dump stations
Boating: Boat ramp, no restrictions
Fish: Native cutthroat, rainbow, brown, brook and lake trout, kokanee salmon and Snake River cutthroat
Water Acres: 1,500

Twin Lakes
Directions: Take Highway 24, then take Highway 82 west approximately 1 mile to the lakes.
Fee: $4 fee at Dexter Point boat ramp, Red Rooster parking/boat ramp, Mountain View overlook and Big Mac, Deception Point, Mount Elbert, Sunnyside and Whistler Point parking.

Union Reservoir
Directions: From Denver, take I-25 north to Highway 119 (Longmont exit). Go west to County Line Road 1. Go north approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right at the sign.
Fee: Daily fee: $4 weekdays; $5 weekends. Seasonal: $30 resident; $50 non-resident
Boating: Boat ramp, wakeless boating only
Fish: Rainbow trout, wiper and channel catfish

Vallecito Reservoir
Directions: From Bayfield, go north on County Road 501 approximately 15 miles. From Durango, go northeast on County Road 240 approximately 20 miles.
Fee: Boating: $20 annual permit; $7.50 five-day permit

Fish: Rainbow and brown trout, kokanee salmon, pike and northern pike

Vega State Park
Directions: Drive 55 miles east of Grand Junction and turn south off I-70 onto Colorado Highway 65. Drive 10 miles to Colorado 330 east through Collbran and drive the final 12 miles to the park entrance.

Fish: Rainbow trout (90 percent), cutthroat and brown trout

Yampa River State Park/Elkhead Reservoir
Directions: Elkhead Reservoir: From Craig: Travel east on U.S. Highway 40 approximately 5 miles to the Elkhead turnoff. From Hayden: Travel north from Hayden on Routt county Road 76 to Routt County Road 78.
Fees: See Yampa River State Park Fees. 
Boating: Elkhead Reservoir: Personal watercraft, water-skiing, canoeing and windsurfing. Boating prohibited if it creates a white-water wake north of buoy line or within 100 yards of the boat ramp.
Yampa River: River boating, eight public access sites.
Fish: Elkhead Reservoir: Non-native warm-water species found in the reservoir include largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern  pike, channel catfish, bluegill, green sunfish, black crappie and western white sucker. Although not a warm-water species, some trout do live in the lake. Native species include round tail chub, speckled dace, flannel mouth sucker and blue head sucker.
