Camping at Boyd Lake
If you're looking for first-class camping, check out Boyd Lake! Boyd Lake offers 148 paved pull-through campsites. The sites are
located on a grassy knoll dotted with trees near the lake. The easily accessible sites can accommodate tents, pick-up campers, trailers and motor homes. All sites have electric hookups. Each site has a picnic table and grill. Three restrooms with showers, playground equipment and horseshoe pits are scattered throughout the campground. Campers must have a camping permit and a valid parks pass.
Please camp only in designated sites and display the campground permit in the marker at each campsite. A holding tank dump station is located in the campground. It is illegal to dump any wastewater, including dishwater, anywhere except the dump station. For information about making reservations see the reservations page. A limited number of campsites are open through the winter.
All campsites are currently first come first serve.
Normally all campsites are available for reservations. When that is in effect, you may only purchase two nights at a time without a reservation. If you do not have a reservation, you need to be sure the site you choose to camp in does not have a reservation card in the numbered post marker at each site.
We recommend you reserve camp sites for any weekend day/nights(including Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays) and stays longer than 2 nights. If you do not reserve a campsite and you stay longer than 2 nights, you risk having to move to another site if a reservation comes in behind you. As with all our camping permits (reserved or not) you have the site until 12:00 (noon) the next day.
