Boat Ramps

The North Boat Ramps, located on the northwest side of the reservoir, have eight launch lanes with courtesy docks. The South Boat Ramp, located on the southeast side of the reservoir, has two launch lanes and one courtesy dock. The courtesy docks are available seasonally and will be removed when ice starts to form on the lake.

There are four Group Picnic Areas throughout the park. As these areas are extremely popular, whenever possible, try and plan either off-peak season use or perhaps a weekday event. Marina

Chatfield has a full-service marina offering slip rentals, boat rentals, boat storage and Seagull’s restaurant. Please call the Marina for information at 303-791-5555. Services available seasonally.

Model Airplane Field

Chatfield provides paved runways, frequency posts and field regulations for radio-controlled aircraft in an area south of the campgrounds. See Chatfield's "Park Activities" page for more information.

Park Office

Chatfield State Park office is located in the park on the south side of the reservoir. It is open Mon. through Friday, except holidays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Park Office will close from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. Phone 303-791-7275. Swim Beach

Chatfield has a designated swim beach with restrooms on the west side of the lake. The Swim Beach is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The swim beach will operate without lifeguards this summer. Parents need to monitor their children at all times.
