Boat Ramps - 5/2/2012

The North Boat Ramps, located on the northwest side of the reservoir, have eight launch lanes with courtesy docks. The South Boat Ramp, located on the southeast side of the reservoir, has two launch lanes and one courtesy dock. The courtesy docks are available seasonally. Campgrounds - 5/2/2012

Modern camping on 197 sites, all with electrical hook-ups and 120 with full hookups. Please check the park main page for fire restrictions. Reservations can be made for the summer season from mid-April through mid-October. The campground is open through the winter on a first-come, first-serve basis. Group Campground - 5/2/2012

Chatfield has ten group camp areas that may be reserved by calling the Park Office at (303)791-7275. Reservations start the Tuesday in January that follows Martin Luther King holiday. Visit the "Camping" link on Chatfield's homepage for additional information. Also check the park main page for fire restrictions.

Group Picnic Area - 5/2/2012

There are four reservable Group Picnic Areas, throughout the park. These areas are extremely popular, and typically need a reservation made way in advance of your event. Reservations begin the Tuesday following Martin Luther King holiday for more information please call the Park Office at (303)791-7275. Marina - 10/3/2011

Chatfield has a full-service marina offering slip rentals, boat rentals, boat storage and Seagull’s restaurant. Please call the Marina for information at 303-791-5555. Services available seasonally.

Model Airplane Field - 10/3/2011

Chatfield provides paved runways, frequency posts and field regulations for radio-controlled aircraft in an area south of the campgrounds. See Chatfield's "Park Activities" page for more information.

Park Office - 5/2/2012

Chatfield State Park office is located in the park on the south side of the reservoir, between the Heronry Picnic Area and the campground. It is open Mon. through Friday, except holidays, 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday, and summer holidays, 9a.m. to 3p.m. The Park Office will close from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. for lunch. Showers - 3/24/2012

Showers are located in the campground and at the swim beach. The cost is 50 cents for the first 3 minutes and 25 cents for each additional minute. The use of these facilities are for park guests only.

Stables or Corrals - 10/3/2011

Chatfield Stables www.painthorsestables.net is the horseback-riding concessionaire at Chatfield. Call 303-933-3636 for rates, hours and other information.

Swim Beach - 9/9/2011

The swimbeach is currently closed for the season. The swimbeach will re-open Memorial Day weekend 2012.

Trails - 10/3/2011

A series of over 26 miles of trails winds through the Chatfield area and provides the park visitor with an abundance of recreational opportunities. The bicycle/hiking trail in the March Gulch area is currently under renovation. Please observe all caution sings. Bicycilists should use the main park road as an alternative route during this renovation. Visit the "Trails" link on Chatfield's homepage for more information.
