Boating The best way to have fun on your boat is the safe way, check out boating safety and regulations (see Boating page).
Fishing Fishing good to fair for many species. See Cherry Creek State Park conditions for current report. For current fishing conditions and stocking updates see the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Ice fishing when conditions allowed.
Jet Skiing Jet skis allowed. Observe all regulations and no-wake areas.
Sailboarding Sailboarding is allowed. Lake Loop is a good launching point.
Swimming Open seasonally in the summer, the sandy beach with a roped-off swimming area is a great place for water play. There is a bathhouse with restrooms located at the beach for convenience. Colorado State Park swim beaches do not have lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk. Children must be supervised by adults at all times. Please don’t take glass, charcoal grills and pets on the beach. And please keep the beach clean by "packing out what you pack in."

Special Services The Cherry Creek Marina (303) 779-6144, provides sailing, windsurfing or water-skiing lessons and rentals. The marina also provides slip rentals, snacks and fuel. Community Sailing (303) 757-7718, offers youth summer sailing programs.
The Ski Shak (303) 766-0766, provides jet ski rentals from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
