Prairie Falcon Event Facility is an Outdoor Amphitheater with rock step amphitheater style seating. The facility is open May - October and will accomodate a maximum of 200 people. Advance reservations are necessary and a fee is required. Reservations must be made through the park office. The rental agreement and rental information are available in the "Group Facilities" link on the Cheyenne Mountain State Park web page.
Camper Services Building

Camper Services building is open April through October; please contact the Visitor Center for more information. The building and facilities close for the season on October 16th every year. There is a retail store with firewood, ice, camping amenities, some snack foods and drink, souvenirs and clothing. There are also coin showers and coin laundry in the building.
Campgrounds

After October 15th reservations are no longer accepted. Campsites will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.
Conference Rooms

There is a conference/meeting room facility located in the Park Visitor Center. It will accommodate a maximum of 50 people,or a maximum of 30 seated, and is available during Visitor Center hours. Reservations are necessary; a fee is charged for use of the room. The reservation form is available for download on this website.
Event Facilities

The Prairie Skipper Event Pavilion is available for rental daily during the summer months through September. The facility will accommodate 200 people and has parking for 85 vehicles. The area boasts a pavilion complete with electric service, picnic tables, restroom facilities, activity areas, and a parking lot. Advance reservations and a fee are required for use. Contact the park office for information and availability.
Picnic Sites

Picnic areas are accessible via hiking trails or parking lots. All 41 day-use picnic areas have grills; plus, all provide quick access to our trail system Please, to protect the parks fragile eco-systems, pets, horses and smoking are not permitted on the trails.
Showers

There are pay shower facilities available in the Camper Services building and in the Meadows Campground comfort station. These showers will close on October 16th and reopen on April 15th every year.
Trails

There are 16 trails that meander through grasslands, gambel oak and fir/pine forests. Approximately 20 miles of trails await you at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Reminder... pets and smoking are not permitted on the trails.
Visitor Center

The Visitor Center is open to the public from 9:00am - 4:00pm daily. The Visitor Center public meeting room is a great place to conduct a meeting for up to 50 people with a grand mountain view. Inside exploration can be fun too. Besides buying passes and picking up park information, you can also soak up the view on the outdoor patio or inside by the stone fireplace; check out the educational and interpretive displays or browse the gift shop for books, clothing, drinks and more! There is a self-serve station for daily passes during and after park hours. The main park office is located in the Visitor Center.
