Fishing at Crawford State Park

Crawford State Park is known as a quality perch and crappie fishery. Anglers may reel in a lunker channel catfish, a dandy largemouth bass or a nice northern pike.  Because of the popularity of summer water-based motor sports, the best times to fish are early/late day, weekdays or non-summer weekends.

Daily fishing limits are:
• Yellow perch: no limit
• Northern pike: no limit
• Crappie:  limited to 20, Catfish:  limited to 10, and Bass: limited to 5 and Bass must be at least 15” inches. Smaller Bass need to be released.

Fishing is permitted anywhere on the reservoir. Use or possession of minnows or fish for bait is prohibited. Check the Colorado Division of Wildlife for more fishing information.
