Employment at Eleven Mile 

Eleven Mile and Spinney Mountain State Parks hire seasonal rangers, maintenance technicians, office staff, aquatic nuisance species boat inspectors, a park trails coordinator and a park interpreter for the park every summer. Eleven Mile State Park provides outstanding accommodations for seasonal employees with a well furnished, on-site, two-story dorm.  Rent, which includes utilities, is currently $10 per week plus $5 per week for utilities -- deducted automatically on a bi-weekly basis. A $50 damage/cleaning deposit is required prior to moving in. Residents must furnish their own bedding, linens and kitchen utensils. Neither smoking nor pets are allowed inside state housing.

The housing unit is inspected periodically throughout the season for cleanliness of common areas and damage. Any damage and/or cleaning fees will be deducted from the employee's deposit.
