Boat Ramps - 5/7/2012

The boat ramp is located on the southwest area of the park. It's a two-lane concrete ramp with a 4% grade. There are 38 parking spaces available for vehicles with trailers. The Boat Ramp will open May 5th and 6th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.and May 12th and 13th from 8a.m. to 4p.m. and will officially open May 19th from sunrise to sunset. Overnight beaching or mooring is allowed.

Campgrounds - 5/7/2012

Bear's Ears campground is located across the dam at the reservoir and has 16 basic sites. Each site has shade shelters and picnic tables and fire rings. CXT bathrooms are located at each end of the campground. Bear's Ears Campground is open for the season.

Picnic Sites - 5/7/2012

Picnic sites are located at the boat ramp, swim beach, ski beach, east beach and the northeast access.

Swim Beach - 5/7/2012

All swimming areas at Elkhead Reservoir are closed for the season.
