Red Barn Group Picnic Area
Red Barn Group Picnic Area provides a rustic setting for large get-togethers. This area is equipped with sheltered picnic tables, large grills, campfire ring, playground, volleyball court, horse shoe pit and vault toilets. Two historic barns, renovated with electrical outlets and lights, cover the tables. Many visitors enjoy using this site for family reunions, office picnics, neighborhood parties, weddings and graduation receptions. Visitors can take in a wonderful view of a nearby open meadow and creek, enjoy the nearby fishing areas and hiking trails. Guests must provide their own net, ball and horseshoes More photos . Fees: Monday - Friday - $150 + $10 reservation fee Saturday & Sunday - $200 + $10 reservation fee Capacity: Seating for 100 people, no more than 150 allowed at this site. Times: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Parking: Restricted to 25 vehicles. Carpooling is recommended. $7 entrance fee per vehicle Reservations: Beginning 9 a.m. Wednesday February 1, 2012, call (303) 582-3707. To avoid interuption to your event, we recommend pre-purchasing vehicle passses for your entire party, when cheking in at the the Visitor Center. Refunds/Cancellations: No refunds due to inclement weather or firebans. Cancellation fee shall be equal to 25% of the base fee if the cancellation is made 15 or more days prior to reserve date.
