Boat Ramps

A four-lane boat ramp is located on the west side of Jackson Lake.

Camper Services Building

In addition to vault toilets, there are camper services buildings (flush toilets and showers) located between Sandpiper and Fox Hills Campgrounds, and in Pelican, Cove, Lakeside and Dunes Campgrounds. NOTE: These buildings are winterized during the off-season; however, the vault toilets remain open.

Campgrounds

Jackson Lake features 260 campsites, including a group campground with 18 sites, and a group picnic area for groups of up to 100. For more information, check out the "Camping" and "Group Facilities" links on the left of Jackson Lake's main page.

Conference Rooms

Dump Station

The dump station is available to our camping guests and is located between the west gate entrance and the visitor center. Water hydrants, with potable water, are also available.

Entrance Station

Entrance stations are located at the south and west gate entrance. The entrance stations will be manned on weekends (and most weekdays) beginning in mid to late April through Labor Day weekend. During the off-season, be prepared to deposit exact change or personal checks at the self-serve brick wall located beyond the west entrance station.

Event Facilities

Fishing Piers

Fishermen may fish from the north side of the boat ramp but park at the boat ramp parking lot. Additionally, a fishing jetty is located south of the marina, and is a great place to drop in a line when water levels are at full capacity.

Group Campground

Dunes Group Campground is available from May 1st through Labor Day weekend. For details, contact the park office (1.970.645.2551) or check the Group Facilities link on our website. There are a total of 18 sites with a 12-site minimum. Up to 6 people are allowed per campsite. Each campsite is allowed 1 hardside unit plus 1 tent -or- 2 tents.

Group Picnic Area

The Centennial group picnic area, adjacent to the Dunes Group Campground, can accommodate groups of up to 100. It is available for reservations from May 1st through Labor Day weekend. For more information, check out the "Group Facilities" link on the left side of Jackson Lake's main page.

Marina

Shoreline Marina is located on the west side of the lake and rents fishing boats, jet-skis, ski boats, and equipment. They can be reached at 1.970.645.BOAT(2628). Their website is: shorelinemarina.biz

Park Office

The park office is located at the Visitor Center and is open 7 days/week, as staffing allows.

Picnic Sites

Individual tables are available first-come, first-served and are located at the inlet, outlet, boat ramp, south and west swim beaches, and the Cottonwood picnic area. For locations of picnic sites, check out the park map, available from the "Maps" link on the left side of Jackson Lake's main page.

Showers

There are camper services buildings (flush toilets and coin-operated showers) located between Sandpiper and Fox Hills Campgrounds, and in Pelican, Cove, Lakeside and Dunes Campgrounds. These buildings are winterized during the winter.

Swim Beach

There are two designated swim beaches. They are located at: 1)Cove Campground on the west shore and, 2)The south beach is accessible at the south entrance. The swim beaches officially open on or before Memorial Day weekend and usually close the Tuesday following Labor Day weekend. Pets are not allowed on the swim beaches or in the water which is roped off for swimming only.
