Trails at Jackson Lake
In addition to the Prairie Wetlands Nature Trail, The Colorado Youth Corp Range Riders completed trails on the south side of the reservoir to access the south swimbeach from Dunes Group Campground and from Centennial Group Picnic Area to Cottonwood day-use picnic area. Check out the park brochure and map to locate these walkways.
Folks also enjoy walking along the shoreline or along park roadways.
OHV's (Off-Highway Vehicles) are only allowed on the OHV track located at the south entrance at Jackson Lake State Park. Since they are not allowed in the campgrounds or on the roadways, OHV's must be trailered in to the staging area which is the Cottonwood parking area. OHV's can be registered at the visitor center.
