THE SOUTH BOAT RAMP WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, MAY 14, 2012, FROM 5:00AM TO 6:00PM (or as soon as the barge is assembled) FOR A WORK BARGE TO BE UNLOADED AND ASSEMBLED TO WORK ON THE FACE OF THE DAM. Currently, both the ramps are open between 5am to 11 pm. The lake is open to boating 24 hours a day, but no loading or unloading of vessels will be allowed after hours. Winter ramp hours start Oct. 16, 2012 thru March 15,2013. At that time, the boat ramps will open from 5am to 6pm. The North and South Boat Ramps are useable year round, if not blocked by ice during the winter months.
Campgrounds

Prairie Ridge, Yucca Flats and Eagle View (all on the north side) as well as Arkansas Point on the south side are open. All have electricity and sites are $20 per night. Prairie Ridge, Yucca Flats and Arkansas Point have flush restrooms, coin-operated showers, coin laundry and a dump station. Juniper Breaks and Kettle Creek have basic sites (no electricity and vault restrooms) and are open. These sites are $16 a night. Remember: a park pass is required on every vehicle for every day. There are dump stations at Prairie Ridge, Yucca Flats and Arkansas Point. They are all open. Stations are available for visitors with a valid park pass and camping permit only.
Entrance Station

The Lake Pueblo Entrance Stations provide the visitor with park information and the opportunity to purchase annual passes or the required daily pass. When staffed by park personnel, stop and allow the staff to see your pass or purchase a pass to enter the park. If the station is not staffed and you do not have a pass, you must purchase a self serve pass located pass the station on the right side. For park pass fee information, visit the “Fees” link.

Marina

Lake Pueblo has two marinas: The Northshore Marina and The Southshore Marina. The Nouthshore Marina can be contacted at 719-547-3880 or www.noshoremarina.com. The Southshore Marina can be contacted at 719-564-1043 or www.thesouthshoremarina.com.

The Visitor Center hours are currently Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Visitor Center's summer hours will start May 12. At that time, the Visitor Center will be open daily, 9 am to 4 pm. Starting the weekend before Memorial Day and ending the weekend after Labor Day, Lake Pueblo's two ranger stations are open to sell camping permits, park passes, boat registrations and also provide various park information.

There’s a great variety of picnic sites with 348 tables and grills throughout the park to choose from. Each site offers some combination of shade, game areas, beach access, views or playgrounds.
Showers

Shower buildings are available in Prairie Ridge, Yucca Flats and Arkansas Point campgrounds. They are all open. Showers are coin operated. The cost is: 50 cents for the first 3 minutes and 25 cents for each minute and a half after that. Change machines are available in the laundry room.
Swim Beach

THE SWIM BEACH IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. Swimming is NOT allowed in the reservoir. Cliff-diving is also strictly prohibited and extremely dangerous. Wading is permitted in the reservoir. A good way to know that you are wading: your feet are always touching the ground! Swimming is only allowed at the Rock Canyon Swim Beach. The beach is currently closed, but will open for the season on Friday, May 25. Starting May 25, the beach will be open Thursdays through Mondays (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays) 11 am to 6 pm. The beach closes for the season on Labor Day (September 3, 2012). There is no extra fee for the beach, but a park pass is required on every vehicle that enters the park. Please note: Pets are not allowed in the swim beach compound. It is not safe to leave pets in a hot car, so plan to leave your pets at home when visiting the beach. Glass is also not permitted at the beach.

The Visitor Center hours of operation are currently Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm. Starting in May and going through Labor Day, the Visitor Center will be open daily: 9 am to 4 pm. 7 days a week. Feel free to visit our unique Interpretative Center.
