Water Recreation at Lake Pueblo

The warm water makes the reservoir ideal for boating, sailing, water-skiing, and jet skiing. Regular winds also provide excellent conditions for sailboarding and sail boating.

Boaters are serviced by two full-service marinas offering slip rentals, gas pumps, minor boat repair, marina stores, and snacks.

Boaters must observe the Colorado Boating statues and regulations, and display a current registration on each boat. An updated regulation booklet is available at every park office. Visit the Colorado State Parks Boat Registration page for additional information.

It’s important to remember that there are debris and shallow areas throughout the lake that create hazards for boaters.  Even though the park makes every attempt to mark hazard areas, not all hazards are discovered or marked.  Boaters must exercise caution and practice good boating skills at all times.
