Boat Ramps - 6/18/2013 NONE at Lory. Use Horsetooth Reservoir for boat ramps. Visit www.larimer.org/naturalresources/boating_inspections.htm for access and inspection hours Camping - 6/18/2013 Lory has six back country campsites. All six campsites are about an hour hike from the nearest parking lot. All campsites are first come first served. Reminder that Lory does not allow camp fires, camp stoves are okay. Also all camp sites are primitive and you must pack in and out all necessary items. Fire Restrictions - 6/18/2013 Lory State Park does not allow campfires of any kind. All fires must be in park installed metal grates. BBQ grills and camp stoves are okay. Fishing Report - 6/18/2013 Lory State Park offers access to Horsetooth reservoirs Quarry, Orchard, North and South Eltuck, Soldier and Santanka Coves for fishing. Smallmouth Bass are being taken. Hunting - 6/18/2013 Lory State Park is open to hunting Monday through Friday during the various hunting seasons. Spring Turkey hunting is only allowed on Monday and Tuesday. All hunting/wildlife regulations apply. All hunters are required to check-in prior to hunting and report any harvests prior to leaving. See our hunting brochure or a ranger for updated hunting boundaries and trail closures. Seasonal Closures - 6/18/2013 The Corral Center Mountain Bike Park is currently open. Any alterations to the bike park must be pre-approved by park management and completed by a registered volunteer. Any unauthorized alterations will be disassembled. Trails - 6/18/2013 Due to the loss of 10 bridges in the valley areas of Lory: East, West and East South Valley trails are closed to all users. West South Valley trail is open. Re-construction has started. Please stop by the visitor center with questions or to look at a map. All other trails are open. Please use the trails responsibly since the fire and wet conditions lead to the resources being damaged very easily.
