WINTER SEASON: Currently there are 18 Electrical campsites first come first serve. $20/night. $7 daily vehicle pass or current Annual Pass. No water, dry dump with paid camping permit. Site driveways are plowed, you remove the snow in the site.
Hunting

Please call the park for details or read the hunting page of this web site for further information. Mueller contains 800 acres within the hunting boundary of Unit 581 adjacent to the Dome Rock State Wildlife Area on the west boundary of the park. It is your responsibility to know where these boundaries are and be familiar with all Colorado Parks and Wildlife regulations. 719-687-2366 x106
Park Entrance

Entrance fee for each vehicle is $7 or a valid/current Colorado State Parks Annual Pass. If gate attendant is not present, a self-service daily vehicle pass must be purchased before entering the park. Day use hours 5AM -10PM. 719-687-2366 press zero.
Road Conditions

Roads are plowed and snow covered with icy patches. Good snow tires or 4Wheel drive is recommended. Drive slowly and gear down on downhill areas. Wildlife, pets, children and hikers use these roads all hours of the day and year round.
Seasonal Closures

Mueller State Park is open year round for trail use and limited campground areas. All cabins are open and on the reservation system. The main road is closed beyond the Comfort Station. The Shower Building is closed for the winter. The Visitor Center is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays through the winter.
Trails

Sledding, tubing, xcountry: good. Trails have inconsistant base under the snow we received last weekend. Always take a Mueller Trail Map. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy winter in the Rockies. Printable trail maps are available at the menu on your left.
