Campgrounds - 2/9/2012
Winter: 18 Electrical Campsites open first come first serve. No water. Heated restrooms. Dry dump. Summer: 132 campsites including 110 multi-use electrical sites and 21 walk-in tent-only sites; Fees - check our fees page for current fees. Electrical hook-ups with 20amp & 30amp. Water hydrants close by.
Dump Station - 2/9/2012
Open to current paid entrance and camping permit holders. Dry dump only.
Group Campground - 2/9/2012
CLOSED FOR THE WINTER. 2012 Group Campground reservations will be taken for the entire summer season by calling the Visitor Center at 719-687-2366 and press zero. All weekends have been reserved for June, July and August. Visitor Center is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Horse Trailer Parking - 2/9/2012
Parking at the old livery parking lot is open when snow conditions allow. Winter parking is allowed at the Elk Meadow Parking Lot. With 27 miles of beautiful day riding trails, riders should always take a trail map. Campfires are never permitted in the backcountry. Overnight camping with horses is prohibited.
Picnic Sites - 2/9/2012
Mueller has 4 beautiful first-come first-serve picnic areas in a forested setting. Each area has 10 tables spread out amoung the trees with a standing grill at each table. Non-reservable. NO FIRE BAN! Please use extreme caution with any fire.
Playground - 2/9/2012
Small playground area available in the campground next to Camper Services.
Trails - 2/9/2012
Beautiful trails vary from short walks to moderate/difficult longer hikes. Designated trail use includes: hiking, mountain biking, horseback trails, and winter cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. A trail map is a must for Mueller trails. No pets on trails or in the backcountry. No motorized vehicles. Backcountry camping or campfires are strictly prohibited.
Visitor Center - 2/9/2012
Open 9:00AM - 4:00PM Wednesday through Sunday. CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays. Located 1.5 miles from the park entrance; Restrooms, nature and local history exhibits, maps, information and bookstore.
