Our amphitheatre provides a cozy venue for outdoor interpretive programs as well as services and ceremonies. Bench seating for approximately 100. Call the park office at (719)687-2366 for more information and rental opportunities.

Cabins and Yurts

Mueller State Park offers 3 furnished log cabins for rent year-round and they make a great winter "camping" alternative!! The cabins are rented via reservations and on a first-come, first-served basis when available. Reservations must be made for a minimum of 2 nights. Pricing is as follows: Pine Cabin/2bdr/$140 night; Spruce Cabin/3bdr/$200 night; Ponderosa/4bdr/$260 night. Colorado State Parks reservations line 1-800-678-2267 or 303-470-1144. No Pets/Smoking. No refunds for weather.

Camper Services Building

The Camper Services Building is centrally located and provides modern restrooms with coin showers, coin laundry machines, and vending machines.

Campgrounds

Both electrical campsites and walk-in tent campsites are available. Water is available at multiple locations throughout the campground. Both modern restrooms and vault toilets are within walking distance of most campsites. The dump station is conveniently located on your way out of the campground. All electrical hook-ups have 20amp & 30amp. Mueller is a popular camping destination; reservations are highly recommended.

Group Campground

Pisgah Point is now open for the summer! Currently taking reservations for 2013; reservations began at 9AM January 9th, 2013. at 719-687-2366 Ext 0. 11 electric sites, most of which can accomodate both tents and R.V.s, are arranged in a close-knit fashion, great for a family reunion or the weekend getaway with friends! All 11 sites must be reserved; $252/night.

Horse Trailer Parking

Horse Trailer Parking is available at the Livery Trailhead #20 (the old livery). Overnight camping with horses is prohibited.

Picnic Sites

Mueller has 4 first-come first-served picnic areas in a beautiful forested setting. Each picnic area can accomodate up to 50 persons. Each area has 10 tables spread out amoung the trees with an upright barbecue grill at each table. Bootlegger Picnic Area has a handicapped accessible table. Non-reservable.

Showers

Coin showers are available during the summer season. They use quarters and the cost is $1.00 for 4 minutes, then 25 cents per minute.

Trails

Mueller offers 55 miles of trails for your enjoyment via foot, horseback, mountain bike, snow shoes or cross-country skis. All trails are open at this time. Always take a Mueller State Park Trail Map with you. A Printable trail map is available at the menu on your left.

Visitor Center

Openfrom 9:00AM - 5:00PM Sunday - Thursday & 9:00AM - 6:00PM Fridays, Saturdays & Holidays. Located 1.5 miles from the park entrance on the left. The Visitor Center offers multiple interactive nature & local history exhibits and awesome opportunities for photos and one-of-a-kind views. You can also find maps, information and souvenirs for purchase at the bookstore. Modern restrooms are also available.
