Campsites
Rifle Gap State Park has 5 campgrounds, which are Cottonwood, Lakeview, Cedar, Sage, and Pinion, providing 89 campsites.

Cottonwood Campground sits on the waters edge, and can accommodate tents, small trailers, large motor homes and pickup campers. Campsites include electric hook-ups with water facilities available throughout the loop. Restrooms with flush toilets and coin-operated showers are located in the center of the camping loop.   Click on each number to see your site: cottonwood 1, cottonwood 2 camp host, cottonwood 3(ADA), cottonwood 4, cottonwood 5, cottonwood 6, cottonwood 7, cottonwood 8, group pavilion                                                       

Lakeview Campground sits on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the reservoir and the mountainside. It includes paved RV/tent sites and walk-in tent sites. The RV/tent sites can accommodate tents, small trailers, large motor homes and pickup campers with pull-through sites and back-in sites. They include full hookups with water, sewer, and electric, and also have picnic tables and fire pits. The walk-in tent sites are nestled within pinion and juniper trees, providing some privacy. Cedar Campground sits up on the hill along the waters edge, and can accommodate tents, small trailers, large motor homes and pickup campers with pull-through sites and back-in sites. Campsites include electric hook-ups with shared water facilities available throughout the loop. Sage Campground is adjacent to DOW and BLM property, and provides easy access for OHV use. Campsites are basic and can accommodate tents, small trailers, large motor homes and pickup campers with pull-through sites and back-in sites. Campsites include covered picnic tables and fire pits. Vault toilets are located in the center of the campground. Pinion Campground sits up on the hill overlooking the water, and is nestled within pinion and juniper trees, providing some privacy. Campsites are basic and can accommodate tents, small trailers, and pickup campers with pull-through sites and back-in sites. Campground users must have a camping permit and a parks entrance pass. Please camp only in constructed sites, and display the camp permit in the plastic holder at the campsites. Campsites are available year-round, but reservations are only accepted for dates between May 1 and October 31.

Dump Station
Our holding tank dump station is available for all registered campers, and is located across from the Cottonwood campground.
