Thank you to all of you who have provided and continue to provide input into the master planning of Staunton State Park. Progress on a master plan for the new Colorado State Park is going very well, however several key internal review periods have been added to the planning process to assure an appropriate direction for the project. These changes have resulted in the lengthening of the overall project timeline. The final public open house for the Staunton State Park master plan will be held on October 28th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, CO.

The Staunton web site contains information on the history and background of Staunton State Park, describes natural resources as well as the current planning process.
