Located within walking distance of the lake, the South Shore campground has ten basic sites (no electricity) with vault toilets and a water tap available nearby. All of the sites have shade shelters and fire pits, four of the sites are pull-throughs and one of the sites is handicapped accessible. The dump station and camper services building located at the Carpios Ridge campground are available for use by South Shore campers. The South Shore campground is open from May 1 through the middle of October.
