Visitor Center and Group Facilities at Yampa River

Visitor Center
The Visitor Center is located at the Headquarters campground near Hayden, Colorado. The Visitor Center provides visitor and traveler information as well as maps and other printed resources. The display area emphasizing Native American history, agricultural heritage and river ecology will captivate visitors young and old alike. A small store with books, clothing and miscellaneous supplies will help outfit visitors for their stay.  The Visitor Center has a Conference Room for rent to the public for social events or business meetings and is in close proximity to our group picnic shelter for outdoor occasions.

Group Facilities
The Headquarters campground near Hayden, CO has two teepees, five group campsites, a conference room and one group picnic area with a playground, volleyball court and horseshoe pits.   

Fees:
Group Picnic Area: $60 per day
Group Camping Area: $16/site for all 5 sites
Conference Room:  $100 per day
Tipi: $25 per day
