"Founded in 1970, the National Sports Center for the Disabled (Winter Park) mission is to positively impact the lives of people with any physical or mental challenge through quality adaptive recreation programs in over 20 sports. "Colorado Discover Ability (CDA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote increased independence and self-worth through outdoor recreation for individuals with disabilities, as well as for their families and friends. For more than 20 years, CDA programs have been serving the disabled in the Grand Valley...in southwest Colorado and in eastern Utah." CDA offers year-round recreational programs.
