Dear Volunteer,

Welcome to Colorado's State Parks! Volunteers differ in their degrees of commitment and types of service.  They differ in their donation of time, materials, expertise and even monies.  The Statewide Volunteer Program strives to help each individual volunteer to find the best placement with the park, program or department that suits their needs and interests while maximizing the benefits for the park.

Depending upon your interests and State Parks’ needs, we will try and match you to the location and volunteer opportunity of your choice. Thank you for your interest in supporting the stewardship of Colorado’s natural resources.

There are four steps to volunteering for Colorado's State Parks:

1. Create your online profile.
2. Select the top 2-3 parks you are interested in; see state map
3. Register your interest(s) with a specific volunteer opportunity displayed by your parks of choice.
4. The park(s)/program (s) staff will contact you via e-mail, phone or through the mail.

If you do not hear back from the parks or if there are no current volunteer opportunities at your park(s) of choice please let us know. If you experience any problems with the database, we would like to assist.
