Group Facilities at Colorado State Parks

The next time you're looking for a place for family, friends, or co-workers to get together, look no further than the beautiful setting of a Colorado State Park. Many of our parks offer great sites for group camping and group picnicking. Plan a birthday celebration, family reunion or even a company business gathering in one of these scenic state parks.

Keep in mind, most of the group areas require reservations and many fill up far in advance, especially on the weekends and holidays. 

Our group facilities include:

Amphitheaters are available at many of Colorado’s State Parks and are perfect for small performances and presentations. They are available for rent and can help add a little fun to your next group activity.

Conference Rooms are available for meetings and business functions. These rooms can host 20 to 50 people and most contain white boards and video/PC presentation systems.

Event Facilities are the perfect locations for family reunions, graduations, church picnics, company meetings, beautiful outdoor weddings or any fun group outings. These facilities can host groups as large as 250 or as small as 6. Event Facilities differ by park but can contain covered picnic sites, electricity, running water, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, restrooms, and playgrounds.

Group Campgrounds are available at many of the Colorado State Parks and can host groups as large as 100 people. Some are tent camping only, some allow RVs and some contain a combination of tent and cabin camping. Group sites may include modern restrooms, water, covered shelter, grills, electricity, fire ring, volleyball setup, and horseshoe pit with horseshoes.

Group Picnic/Eating Areas can host up to 75 guests. Specific amenities vary by park but many of the Group Eating Areas include a shade shelter, concrete pad, large barbecue grill or fire ring, and picnic tables. Some also include water and electricity.
