The scenery at Highline Lake changes constantly! Bring a camera and take a short hike along one of the trails. Depending on the time of day and the weather, you might see a few of our large deer herd - 4-point bucks, does and little ones. Or maybe our resident geese and ducks floating safely and blissfully on the open water of Highline Lake. The two bald eagles who fish in the open water at both lakes are awesome to watch! Storms that blow in and around the Bookcliffs create beautiful shadows, making 3-D scenes with canyons you never noticed before!
